  1. Thanks for this tutorial; you were right it was long but everything was so well explained. I read a lot about making roses from coffee filters, saw some videos, but yours is the best!

  3. These are amazing, I'm going to make some for valentines day as a present :) How did you colour the dark red ones? Did you use the ink to the colour the petals before you made the rose?
    Thank you so much!

    1. No, you always make the rose first, and then paint it. :)

  4. ...and in the tutorial you don't say in english how many of each petal design you need? (except for the single ones)I am trying to work out how many filters I would need per rose :)

    1. Yes I did! It is at 2min27 sec ;) So one filter for n°1, one filter for n°2, One filter for n°3, one filter for n°4, one filter for n°5 you have to draw 3 of it so you'll use a whole filter for this n°5, and also it will be in double because of the 2 sides of the filter... so you will have 6 of the n°5 when you cut it out.. one filter for n°6, it is actually the same shape as the n° 5, so you will have 6 of it exactly the same way as with the n°5, one filter for n°7 the same way as n°5&6, and again one last filter for n°8 witch is the same shape as the n°7 and it works also the same way as n°5&6&7... so it's 8 filter per rose, and I made the leaves from what is left of the filters (you will have some space left on the first filters) but if you want you can also use one or two extra filters so it makes 10 filters at the most in total! I hope this helps! :)

  7. Wonderful tutorial! Beautiful natural looking roses. I couldn't see the name of all the paint colours. Would you mind telling them to me? Thank you for all the time involved with making this wonderful tutorial. I must try these.
